Meet Us

Dr. Noah
Noah Makovsky  MD

Dr. Noah Makovsky, or "Dr. Noah" as he is affectionately known by patients, parents, and colleagues, is a native of Denver, Colorado. He attended the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in European History, and then returned to Denver to receive his medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Following medical school, he moved to Los Angeles to complete a three year residency in General Pediatrics at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. After experiencing both the east coast and the west coast, Dr. Noah and his wife decided to move back to Denver to raise their family and to establish Dr. Noah's private practice in pediatrics.

After four years in practice, Dr. Noah's passion for pediatrics led to the formation of Stapleton Pediatrics with medical school friend Dr. Brandon Davison-Tracy. Dr. Noah strongly believes that all children and families are unique, and therefore he always strives to provide individualized patient and family care. He is committed to remaining current with the latest pediatric updates to ensure that he will provide the highest level of pediatric care available today. For his efforts, Dr. Noah has been recognized on multiple occasions by his peers in 5280 Magazine as one of Denver's "Top Docs".

Married and father of three wonderful children, Dr. Noah is constantly humbled by parenthood. His personal experience, combined with his professional experience, allows Dr. Noah the extraordinary privilege to partner with children, parents and the Stapleton Pediatrics team to provide compassionate and comprehensive pediatric care for children of all ages.

Dr. Brandon
Brandon Davison-Tracy  MD

A native of Denver, Dr Brandon Davison-Tracy ("Dr. Brandon") returned home after graduating summa cum laude from Westmont College to complete his medical degree at the University of Colorado. He then completed his pediatric residency at The Children's Hospital in Denver where he was given the Golden Apple teaching award. Dr. Brandon is active as an assistant professor of pediatrics and was the recipient of the young teacher of the year award in 2005. He has served on both the medical board of The Children's Hospital and the board for Camp Waipiyapi (a camp for children with cancer).

His clinical interests include ADD/ADHD, and developmental pediatrics as well as sports, adolescent and tropical medicine.

Dr. Brandon and his wife, Sarah, are the proud parents two wonderful children, Sophia and Micah. You will generally find them either singing and dancing around the kitchen, picking up toys, and playing guitar or reading by the fireplace, or going on "adventure" hikes around the neighborhood. "Pediatricians are always reeducating themselves, on a never-ending quest to find the latest and most beneficial treatments and remedies. But nothing has been more humbling than being a parent. My children are, and will always be, my greatest teachers."

Dr. Amy
Amy Nash  MD

Dr. Amy Nash ("Dr. Amy") is proud to say she is a native of Colorado, who grew up in Denver. As a child and teenager, she spent her free time dancing at Colorado Ballet and then Cleo Parker Robinson, graduating from Manual High School in 1993. Her college years were enjoyed in Vermont, at Middlebury College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Modern Dance. After college, she lived in Boston and worked for a national marketing firm, the Jack Morton Company, for two years. During this time, she realized her desire to pursue a career in medicine and attended Tufts University's Post Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Program. She then attended Emory University School of Medicine and was awarded the distinction of being a member of the AOA medical honor society. After too many years away from Colorado, she thankfully returned home in 2005, to complete her residency with the University of Colorado at The Children's Hospital. During her training she took special interest in the areas of sports medicine and primary care, and has been working with Dr. Noah and Dr. Brandon since the summer of 2008. In addition to being a pediatrician, she is a mother, which she recognizes as being her most challenging and rewarding accomplishment to date.

Dr. Bryan
Bryan Kono  MD

Dr. Bryan is thrilled to have joined Stapleton Pediatrics in January of 2011.
Born in Chicago and raised in Santa Cruz, California, Dr. Bryan developed a love of the outdoors growing up near the Pacific Ocean and the Sierra mountains. He attended Occidental College in Los Angeles where he met his wife Tara, a Denver native. After a year of exploring the outdoors in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, the two moved to Illinois where Bryan attended medical school at the University of Chicago. Pediatric residency at Stanford University brought them back near Bryan's home town. At Stanford, Dr. Bryan was on the honor roll for teaching for his work with medical students. In 2007, Bryan and Tara moved back to Tara's hometown of Denver and Bryan began practicing pediatrics. He is also Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

In 2008, Tara and Bryan became the proud foster parents of Selecia and Adalea. They were able to officially adopt their daughters in 2009. One of Dr. Bryan's clinical interests is the care of adopted children. He incorporates this into his work at Stapleton Pediatrics and as a board member of the non-profit agency, Adoption Alliance.

Raised with both eastern and western influences, Dr. Bryan entered medical school with an interest in both conventional and alternative approaches to illness and wellness. His focus is on integrative and holistic care for each family, integrating conventional and complementary therapies when appropriate. Like his colleagues at Stapleton Pediatrics, he strives to take into account the whole person and whole family in his approach to illness and wellness. Dr. Bryan is trained in pediatric hypnosis and teaches kids and adolescents the skill of self-hypnosis to augment the care of a variety of ailments including; migraines, asthma, abdominal pain, anxiety, insomnia, bedwetting, thumb-sucking, compulsions, tics, and Tourette's (to name a few).

He loves pediatrics for its rich diversity of ages and family backgrounds, as well as for the art required in connecting with children at various stages of development, from newborn to adolescent. "I hope to continue to refine that art with the help of my children and my patients."
