After Hours Telephone Calls

In case of emergency, please call 911; for all other questions or concerns that arise after hours, please call our main phone number. Your call may be directed to the After Hours Telephone Triage Service provided by The Children's Hospital. A trained nurse will listen to your concerns and advise you based on established protocols. If you and the nurse are satisfied with the advice provided, our office will receive a fax notification regarding the phone conversation to ensure that we are aware of your specific concerns regarding your child. Occasionally it will be necessary to directly notify one of our on-call pediatricians after hours. If this is needed, either the answering service or the telephone triage nurse will initiate this action.

After Hours Hospital Care

If you feel your child needs care after hours or if you are advised to seek care for your child by a nurse or physician after hours, please go to the nearest emergency room. If choices exist, we generally recommend the following facilities:
